Georgia
Tbilisi, Kazbegi, Gudauri, Uplistsikhe, Telavi, Sighnaghi
Welcome to Georgia – Country of ancient history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking nature. Medieval churches crown mountain peaks, polyphonic songs echo through stone towns, and legendary hospitality warms every table. From Caucasus summits to Black Sea shores, wine, tradition, and landscapes intertwine, inviting travelers to experience timeless beauty and soulful adventure and wonder always.
Your journey begins in a relaxed way: around 10:40 AM, you board your flight at Schiphol. After arriving in Tbilisi (5:15 PM), you’ll receive a warm welcome with a cozy dinner at Tika’s family restaurant, Marani. It’s a pleasant, informal start
to your adventure.
After a brief impression of the Sunday service in the Georgian Orthodox Church, you’ll visit the National Museum. Here, you’ll admire special artifacts that you might recognize from the wine bottles of TSV Estate Winery. Then, you’ll take a leisurely stroll through Tbilisi’s old town and soak up the city’s atmosphere.
Today, you’ll head into nature, towards Kazbegi. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views over the Zhinvali Reservoir and visit the historic Jvari Monastery and the Ananuri
Fortress. You’ll spend the night in Kazbegi, surrounded by impressive mountains.
After visiting the famous Gergeti Trinity Church, the afternoon is all yours: join a cooking workshop, take a yoga session, or simply take some time for yourself.
On the way back to Tbilisi, you’ll discover the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe. Back in the capital, you can choose between a creative calligraphy workshop or a wonderfully relaxing sulfur bath.
Today, you’ll head east to Kakheti, where you’ll learn all about traditional Georgian winemaking. Afterwards, you can leisurely wander through charming Telavi and visit the local market. You’ll spend the night in atmospheric Tsinandali.
You’ll visit Sighnaghi, the “City of Love”. Here, you can choose a city walk and a museum visit or just enjoy some free time. Then you’ll go to Chateau Svanidze, where you’ll learn to make churchekla and Georgian bread yourself. During dinner, the Tamada ensures a festive atmosphere, complete with beautiful Georgian singing. You’ll spend the night in Tbilisi again.
Up early for the return flight at 6:40 AM. Around 9:40 AM, you’ll be back home, hopefully with a suitcase full of wonderful memories and “life-changing experiences”.
