Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport we meet you to take you to your hotel. Later embark on a city tour. Tbilisi is a vibrant example of the mix of nationalities, cultures, religions, and ethnic groups found in Georgia. Tbilisi was founded in the 5th century AD by Vakhtang Gorgasali, the Georgian King of Kartli (Iberia) and made into a capital in the 6th century. Today, get acquainted with the city on a walking tour, passing through the old quarters and the center, with its famous sulfur springs along the Mtkvari River. Admire the charm of Old Tbilisi and pay a visit to one of the the most historical and fascinating sights of Tbilisi – Narikala fortress from where one can take in the bird`s-eye view of the city. Right on the other side of the fortress, visit truly hidden GEM; Botanical garden take a relaxing stroll along the Fig gorge, a verdant deep canyon in the heart of the Old Town. The gorge is connected through a series of charming paths and small bridges, leading to a beautiful waterfall.

Today a beautiful drive takes us along charming Caucasus Mountains, to a small town to one of Georgia`s finest ski resorts – Gudauri. En route visit Mtskheta the ancient capital of eastern Georgia. The country’s conversion to Christianity occurred in Mtskheta in 337 AD, and it is considered one of Georgia’s most important religious centers. While in Mtskheta, visit the Svetitskoveli Catheral and the beautiful Jvari Monastery, situated on the edge of a cliff. Continue your drive along the stunning Caucasus Mountains to Gudauri. Next, visit small town Stepantsminda located at the base of Mount Kazbek (5047 m) in the mountains. On the way to Kazbegi there will be a few stops for taking breath-taking pictures and enjoying the majestic beauty of the Caucasus Mountains. Embark on a 4 wheel drive to Gergeti holy trinity church. Overnight in Kazbegi

After breakfast, drive to explore Gori town, visit Stalin`s museum and cave town of the 1st millennium BC – Uplistsikhe. Once a thriving center of the Georgian kingdom, now it is favorite destination of visitors. After, drive back to Tbilisi. Spend free time at your leisure.

After delicious breakfast drive to Georgia`s wine region. Our first step is Telavi – a picturesque town and the heart of wine region of Kakheti, and visit a vibrant authentic Farmers Market where you can witness the diversity of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and many varieties of Georgian home-cooked cheese. Next visit Tsinandali museum will drive to visit Tsinandali Museum and Residence is the former residence of the 18th century Kakhetian prince and poet, Alexander Chachavadze, Afterwards proceed to Alaverdi church. This impressive cross-domed, tetra conch church of St. George, in the Alazani Valley, was founded in the 6th century by Ioseb Alaverdeli (one of the Syrian Fathers). The existing church was built in the first half of the 11th century. This impressive, more than 50m high, building is characterized by elevated proportions, plain facades and grand inner space, typical of Kakhetian architecture. Overnight in Telavi

Today after breakfast head Sighnaghi – a large variety of languages and nationalities mingle with the unique mountain landscape to make Sighnaghi one of the most breath-taking places on the planet. Explore multiple architectural monuments and learn about the traditions of local people, all while enjoying the splendid views that open up on the gorgeous Alazani Valley, known as the cradle of Georgian wines. Continue to Tbilisi.
